The new Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS), previously operating on a regional basis across England, has become a national service focusing on helping the country’s small and medium-sized manufacturers to grow.

MAS provides companies with practical support on all aspects of manufacturing and offers direct access to manufacturing experts with a proven track record. Subsidised consultancy assistance is offered where it is needed.

03/01/2012: Renewable Energy Offers Economic Lift

Investment in renewable energy has given a £2.5 billion boost to the UK economy this financial year, according to the Government.

Energy Secretary Chris Huhne claimed the development of renewable energy projects announced in recent months could create 12,000 jobs, as he reaffirmed the Coalition’s commitment to meeting EU renewable energy targets.
